From Million-Dollar Property Deals to a Million-Dollar Startup: The Rise of Mohamad Al Shami

Long before co-founding Eternity alongside Omar Abu Ghoush, Mohamad Al Shami had already facilitated more than USD 25 million in property transactions, built an international music career and worked across global logistics. At just 20 years old, the Jordanian entrepreneur is now helping lead one of the Arab world’s youngest million-dollar startups.
ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates, July 2026 — Most entrepreneurs spend years becoming known for a single industry. By the age of 20, Mohamad Al Shami had already built a career across real estate, logistics, entertainment and technology—each chapter preparing him for the next.
That journey reached a historic milestone in 2026 when Al Shami and his co-founder, Omar Abu Ghoush, led Eternity to a USD 1 million valuation following the completion of its pre-seed funding round, backed by a confidential private investor. The milestone made them the youngest Arab founders in history to build a million-dollar company, placing the two Jordanians among the youngest founders worldwide to reach the achievement.
For Al Shami, however, Eternity was not the beginning of the story. Based in Abu Dhabi, he had already established himself as a trusted property consultant, advising international investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals on opportunities across the United Arab Emirates. Before turning 20, he had facilitated more than USD 25 million in property transactions, earning a reputation for turning complex investment decisions into opportunities clients could understand with confidence.
His understanding of business extended beyond real estate. Working within Tucker International USA Inc., the international logistics company founded by his father, Hilmi Al Shami, he gained hands-on experience in global supply chains, warehouse operations and international commerce. Those years gave him an appreciation for systems thinking—understanding that success is built through precision, reliability and trust at every stage of a process.
Away from boardrooms, Al Shami developed another international career. Active as a DJ and music producer since 2015, he has performed across the Middle East, Europe and North America, including a sold-out 1,200-capacity show in Budapest, performances at the Pyramids of Giza and Jordan's Dead Sea, and appearances alongside internationally recognised artists. His music has accumulated more than one million streams across digital platforms, adding another dimension to an already unconventional career.
In March 2026, Al Shami joined forces with 18-year-old entrepreneur Omar Abu Ghoush to co-found Eternity, an AI-powered education platform designed to transform how students navigate higher education. Rather than offering a single service, the platform brings together university discovery, scholarship matching, AI-powered guidance through Sage, application support, accommodation and relocation into one connected ecosystem.
While Abu Ghoush leads much of the platform's strategic vision and international representation, Al Shami has become the commercial force behind Eternity, building partnerships, strengthening institutional relationships and helping turn an ambitious product into a globally scalable business. Together, the founders combined complementary strengths that enabled Eternity to reach a million-dollar valuation before its official launch.
Set to launch globally in late 2026, Eternity represents more than another education technology startup. The founders believe millions of students are forced to navigate a fragmented journey across disconnected platforms, advisers and application systems. Their ambition is to replace that complexity with a single intelligent platform capable of guiding students from their first university search to the day they arrive on campus.
Despite the variety of industries in which he has worked, Al Shami's career has followed a remarkably consistent theme. Whether advising investors, coordinating international logistics, performing before thousands of people or building technology for students, his work has centred on one idea: making complicated opportunities easier for people to access.
That philosophy has shaped the way he approaches entrepreneurship. Rather than building businesses for the sake of entering new industries, Al Shami has focused on solving problems where trust, execution and human relationships matter most. It is an approach that has allowed him to move comfortably between commerce, technology and entertainment while remaining grounded in the same operating principles.
Today, Mohamad Al Shami stands among a new generation of Arab entrepreneurs redefining what early success can look like. With a million-dollar company, an international business career and a growing global profile before the age of 21, his story is no longer defined by any single industry—but by his ability to build across them.
